I have always found Greek Mythology fascinating, and I especially enjoy coming across Greek Gods/Goddesses that I'd not heard of before. This illustration depicts Demeter, known as the Goddess of Harvest and Agriculture, and other titles such as 'Sito' (She of the Grain) and 'Thesmophoros' (Bringer, Bearer). I have moved away from the usual description of her having blonde hair, utilising her symbol of a red poppy by making her hair red.
