Sunset On Hands

There is nothing more beautiful to watch than a sunset when it's been a clear and sunny day. I never tire of watching the pinks, yellows, and blues that appear, so I took inspiration from that colour palette and implemented it in to an illustration.

This artwork was created with the intention of sharing with my followers on social media a small insight to how I go about creating a piece, as shown in the timelapse video I recorded while painting. A sketch using a photograph of my hands as reference for pose was put down first, the rest was painted using watercolours and gouache by Winsor & Newton.
