Hand Study I

Created on Strathmore toned grey paper, using a mechanical pencil, and Faber Castell polychromos pencils for hi-lights. I used my own hand as a reference, taking photos to study from. From there I got a little creative and added an element that is not in the original reference photo - the moth. They are one of my favourite things about nature, with butterflies a close second, I enjoy including them within my work whenever I can.
